My client wanted to avoid filler and needed something to target the lines she had on her cheeks. These photos are after ONLY 1 treatment! It is an excellent pairing to daily medical grade skin care products like Skinmedica Advanced+ TNS Serum.
SKINVIVE has been around in other countries for many years and is quickly becoming all the rage in the US when it was introduced in 2023. One treatment for all skin tones that is FDA approved to smooth and hydrate cheeks for up to 6 months.. My clients describe their results as glowing, radiant, smooth, hydrated,. And they report that makeup goes on smoother and looks great throughout the day and others constantly comment on how healthy their skin looks.
Skinvive Lips!
Juvederm Vobella was injected during the same treatment to provide volume and structure to the lips themselves. Lip filler doe snot always have to be "go big or go home", subtle changes can be dramatic and dramatic changes can be subtle.
Skinvive by Juvederm was injected around the outside of her lips. Everyone gets these lines with age due to volume loss. It's true that smoker's will have worse lines but it's really not smoking that is the primary cause. So many client defend these lines be exclaiming they are not smokers and we reassure them that everyone gets them, women worse than men. Traditional filler is not approraite to inject in this area as it creates too much volume and can lead to an upper lip fullness or monkey like appearence to the upper lip..

Skinvive is a unique injecatble products as it does not create volume the way traditional hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm does. It targets a protein in the skin called Aquaporin 3. In our youth this protein is very active and abundantly present in our skin and it helps regulate water and gylcerol in and out of the skin. As we age, this protein is much less active and we lose the ability to hold onto water and hydration. In essence, our skin goes from a plump firm grape to a shriveled shadowed raisin. Think of this as a skin health treatment.
It's not very easy to capture before and after photos but the studies were impressive when measuring hydration and skin texture. The dramatic results are more something you will experience - healthy glowing skin; make-up goes on smooth and doesn't settle in creases; texture and very fine lines plump and smooth out; injecatble moisturizer; an IV for the skin; and more!
