Hair Growth in Fort Worth and Keller, TX

What is KeraLase?

KeraLase is a non-surgical, painless hair restoration treatment combining laser therapy with KeraFactor serum. The UltraLaseMD laser device creates micro-channels in the scalp, enhancing absorption of the serum's bioidentical growth factors. This stimulates hair growth and improves scalp health, addressing hair loss caused by aging, hormonal changes, or other factors.

Types of Hair Loss

KeraLase is particularly effective for addressing two common types of hair loss:

Telogen Effluvium: This type of hair loss is often triggered by stress-related events such as postpartum, illness (like COVID), or other significant life changes. It typically manifests as excessive hair shedding, often starting around three months after the triggering event. While many cases resolve on their own, regrowth can take time, and in some individuals, it may become a chronic issue.

Androgenic Alopecia:
Also known as male or female pattern baldness, this condition leads to hair thinning in specific patterns. Men often experience a receding hairline, whereas women tend to retain their frontal hairline but experience thinning across the crown.

KeraLase works by strengthening, thickening, and improving the overall health of existing hair follicles, particularly those that are thinning. However, it's essential to note that once a hair follicle has died, it cannot be revived. In cases of dead follicles, hair transplantation may be a more suitable option.
