Facial Balancing
Photos are of actual clients treated by Karen Sticka PA-C, with permission to post.
After an amazing weight loss journey, our client was about to walk down that isle and wanted a refreshed and lifted look. No pressure there, she's was only going to be standing in front of all of her friends and family in about 6 short weeks with all eyes on her. As we like to say "fat is a good filler!", so losing weight often means volume is shifting and skin is sagging. Various Juvederm fillers were used in her temples, cheeks, laugh lines, chin and jawline,

How long does filler last? Well then amazing thing about these images is that the after photo was taken ONE YEAR after we injected her! One year later, she looks refreshed and has mainted amazing balance and rejuvenation.

History of previous botox and filler, looking for a more balanced yet natural overall look. Botox was used in the lower face to prevent chin dimpling and to raise the corners of the mouth, also in the neck to treat neck bands. Juverm Voluma was used deep in the temples, cheeks, chin and jaw. Vollure superficially in the temples and below the cheeks and Volbella in the lips for soft hydration without adding too much volume. Results are dramatically subtle and subtly dramatic. Her after photos are definitely more elegant, more sophisticated and she looks like the best version of her. You never want your filler to be obvious.

This patient best exemplifies the power of fillers. A facelift would have only tightened her skin, now she has the look of a facelift without the scars. Her face is more youthful in it's projection. The first row of photos utilizes Botox in the upper face to lift her brows and widen her eyes and fillers that include Juvederm Voluma, Vollure, and Ultra in the cheeks, chin, jaw in lips. The bottom row was a full year later, demonstrates how adding a little more filler and then using Kybella in the jawline can further reduce jowling. My beautiful patient, my dear friend, and my favorite permanent make up artist can be found in the Pantego area of Arlington, TX at Vicki's Making Faces.
