Your safety and well-being is our top priority and we are here to assist you. If you have any concerns, questions, or suspect you are experiencing an adverse reaction, please call us immediately at 682-416-0393. Additionally, adhering to these pre- and post-care instructions will contribute to achieving your best possible results.

Before Your Appointment...

*Please arrive with a clean face (no makeup) to maximize your consultation and treatment time. If you do arrive with make up on we can provide facial wash for you.

*Results and adverse reactions rely heavily on your immune system, please wait 1 month before or 1 month after any recent illness, dental procedures, medical procedures or immunization/vaccines.

*To minimize bruising please stop any unnecessary medications that can increase the risk, such as aspirin, fish oil, vit E, St Johns Wart, anti-inflammatories, etc for 1 week. Avoid alcohol for 2 days prior.

*To minimize swelling, it is advised to take an antihistamine such as Zyrtec or Claritin for a week prior to your injections and avoid spicy foods two days prior.

*Travel If you plan on receiving filler, it is not not advised to fly or go out of town for 2 days. While extremely rare, serious side effects may occur and your injector may need to see you in the office ASAP to reverse any major complication.

*Products Inform your provider about all skin care products you are currently using as they can just as easily have a NEGATIVE effect on your results (such as essential oils and scrubs). If skincare product instructions were given after a procedure, please strictly follow them. These are put in place to enhance your results and minimize adverse reactions. Skincare after lasers procedures is NON-NEGOTIABLE.

Sculptra Aftercare

* Wash your hands before touching your face.
* Massage
the areas injected for 5 minutes, 5 times a day for 2 weeks, or more often if can. Think of Sculptra as a snow globe, the particles need to be occasionally shaken as the saline gets absorbed for best results.
* It is normal to be swollen for a few days and then it appears all of the results have disappeared. That's just the saline being absorbed. The real magic is barely getting started.
