Additionally, adhering to these pre- and post-care instructions will contribute to achieving your best possible results.

Before Your Appointment...

*Please arrive with a clean face (no makeup) to maximize your consultation and treatment time. If you do arrive with make up on we can provide facial wash for you.

*Since filler results and adverse reactions rely heavily on your immune system, please wait 1 month before or 1 month after any recent illness, dental procedures, medical procedures or immunization/vaccines.

*To minimize bruising please stop any unnecessary medications that can increase the risk, such as aspirin, fish oil, vit E, St Johns Wart, anti-inflammatories, etc for 1 week. Avoid alcohol for 2 days prior.

*To minimize swelling, it is advised to take an antihistamine such as Zyrtec or Claritin for a week prior to your injections and avoid spicy foods two days prior.

*Travel If you plan on receiving filler, it is not not advised to fly or go out of town for 2 days. While extremely rare, serious side effects may occur and your injector may need to see you in the office ASAP to reverse any major complication.

After Your Botox Appointment...

*NO RUBBING for the rest of the day Botox was placed in a very specific area of the muscle that is causing the wrinkle. Any kind of rubbing can cause the Botox to move into the wrong area, resulting in no reponse, partial response or unwated response. Anthing that causes rubbing should be avoided - such as getting a facial or face treatment, massage where you are laying face down, wearing a hat, going scuba diving, etc, etc.

*No Exercise or sweaty activity for 4 hours 

*No Make up or skin care products for 4 hours

After Your Filler Appointment...

*** Bruising and tenderness can be expected. But if you experience worseing pain or a bruise moving into an area that was not injected, please contact the office IMMEDIATELY at 682-416-0393. Severe complications are EXTREMELY rare and needs to be addressed immediately.***

*NO TOUCHING for the rest of the day
 wash your hands if you do need to touch your face. The injection sites need to heal and close and we need to keep all bacteria out of the area. So treat your face like you would a new born baby.

*NO Exercise or sweaty activity for 24 hours 

*NO Make up for 24 hours since it can be loaded with bacteria. Wash your brushes tonight and replace sponges

*NO Skincare products until later tonight they also make have bacteria at the dispensing area, Clean this area off with rubbing alcohol.

*Replace your pillow case with a clean one tonight

*TRY to sleep on your back and little upright tonight.
If you wake up on your side, you may experience more swelling on that side

*NO animals licking your face when you get home or sleeping in your bed tonight.

*NO vaccines, dental or medical procedures for 2 weeks.
